The Family Tree Past and Present

As I look down the road in the photo above, I can not help but think a Family Tree is really a forest.  As our families grow and marry, each brings their own tree.  As I work with Sandi, I realize that our grand parents are very special to us.  Both of our grandfathers are brothers, and fortunately for me, I got to meet our Great-Grandfather and Great-Grandmother.  Just like the picture, our trees go in different directions, my Grandmother was a Bunting, and hers was a Nash, showing this is truly a forest, and this is just two in the same generation.  There are many of you that enjoy coming here to see what is going on and add to our work, and you bring to us a growing and living forest that is thriving.

Thanks for taking your precious time to visit.

Mother and Daughter Share Birthdays

Two years ago today 29 June 2008, in Cooperstown, New York, the home of the Baseball Hall of Fame, became the Birthplace of Adrianne Grace Hovatter. Richard Matthew Hovatter and wife the former Kimberly Ellen Thomas, did just as the Baseball league did, they CHOSE, Cooperstown. It was a well thought out plan to have Adrianne Grace born there, but that was the end of the plan. 29 June 2008, was Kimberly’s Birthday, and she grew up knowing that it was a special day and being a “Daddy’s Girl” she knew she did not have to share that special day (or so she thought for 28 years). Today Kimberly turns 30, and is as much a Daddy’s Girl as she has ever been, her lovely Daughter is a pawpaw’s who brings a swell of pride to him.
